About the property
A Living Museum Originally a 1940s corner store, this authentic adobe has been reimagined as "The Nicho House." In a complete architectural remodel, we removed load-bearing walls to create a breathtaking open-concept flow that preserves the home's historic soul while embracing ultra-contemporary luxury.
The Signature Nichos True to its name, the home features over 50 custom-built niches - the signature recessed shelves of the Southwest. Traditionally used for santos and candles, we’ve reimagined them as a sleek, modern gallery.
- Museum-Grade Lighting: Each nicho is equipped with professional low-voltage lighting, casting a warm, curated glow over the art and architecture throughout the night. Every wall serves as a curated display for art, books, and cultural treasures.
Curated Bedroom Galleries Each of the 4 bedrooms is designed as a private sanctuary with a distinct cultural theme:
The African Suite: Striking sculptures & King Bed.
The American Craft Suite: Historic ceramic pottery & Queen Bed.
The Bali Suite: Intricate hand-carved masks and sculptures & Queen Bed.
The Global Guardian Suite: A stunning collection of masks from around the world, curated to represent the ancient tradition of protection and keeping a peaceful home. Includes a King Bed.
Modern Architecture & Design
Great Room: Expansive living area with gleaming white polished cement floors and a traditional kiva fireplace.
Gourmet Chef’s Kitchen The heart of the home is a designer kitchen built for gathering.
The Centerpiece: A massive 9-foot kitchen island crafted from dramatic Italian granite - perfect for morning coffee, wine tastings, or serving as a communal creative workspace.
The Details: Elegant French white oak cabinetry and a professional LG & KitchenAid suite, including a sleek glass-top electric range.
The Flow: The kitchen opens directly into the expansive living area, keeping the chef part of the conversation.
Spa Bathrooms: Italian micro-cement finishes and granite sink boxes; the master suite includes an oversized soaking tub.
Outdoor Oasis & Rare Amenities The large, private backyard is a rare find in the heart of the city, designed for both relaxation and play:
Hot Tub: Soak under the New Mexico stars.
Firepit: Gather for cozy evenings and conversation.
Lawn Games: Professional-grade cornhole set for outdoor fun.
Parking: Two private, gated off-street parking spaces - an absolute premium in Santa Fe.
The Neighborhood Located in one of Santa Fe’s oldest and most historic neighborhoods, you are perfectly positioned to experience the city’s quiet side while remaining close to the action.

Traveling with our very young grandchildren is a challenge. Saachi’s place made our first-time trip to Santa Fe easy-peasy, as the kids would say. 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms allowed for privacy and convenience, concrete floors silenced the noise of running feet, and multiple big-screen TVs allowed us the watch the World Cup games while the young uns enjoyed their cartoons. We felt safe in the house and neighborhood, especially with the private parking. And so close to the Plaza! A gem of a house, will not hesitate to book here again.
Such a sweet and perfect location. ❤️ our family loves the home and we will be back!!!
Everything you need for a stay in SantaFe… super convenient location to all the best spots- and even walkable. We had plenty of space for privacy. Perfection.
